Jill Elefante is a Licensed Professional Counselor who earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from William Paterson University of New Jersey. She provides therapy to adults, young adults, and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds, offering a friendly and unique space for growth. Jill enjoys connecting with her clients in a personal, down-to-earth way, so therapy doesn’t feel stiff or intimidating. She likes to make sessions comfortable, flexible and easy—often with the help of her cat, Tangerine, who may join in sessions. Don’t worry, Tangerine is HIPAA compliant!

Throughout her career, Jill has worked in school counseling offices, community mental health centers, private practices, and outpatient settings. She has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, life adjustments, bipolar disorder, grief, trauma, and more. Jill is also a strong advocate for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients, creating a safe and affirming environment for all.

Jill approaches therapy as a collaborative process, helping clients build self-awareness and insight by exploring their strengths, thoughts, and behaviors. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness practices, tailoring each approach to support clients in achieving their personal goals and long-term growth.
